India Energy Week 2026 concluded with India projecting confidence and clarity in its energy strategy, highlighting resilience amid global volatility, stable pricing for consumers, rapid clean fuel adoption—including CBG and green hydrogen—and a growing role in global energy dialogue.

India Energy Week 2026 concluded in Goa with India reaffirming its position as a resilient and pragmatic energy leader, capable of navigating global uncertainty while advancing a balanced energy transition. The closing discussions reflected how India has strengthened its energy framework through diversification, long-term planning and steady policy reform—ensuring security, affordability and sustainability as demand continues to rise.
Addressing the Closing Ceremony, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, highlighted that successive global disruptions have been absorbed through diversified sourcing, domestic capability building and accelerated clean fuel adoption. He underscored India’s standing as one of the world’s largest energy consumers, refiners and exporters, noting that timely interventions have helped maintain uninterrupted supply and among the lowest energy prices globally, shielding consumers from international price volatility. The Minister also emphasised the expanding role of ethanol blending, compressed biogas (CBG), biofuels and green hydrogen alongside conventional energy, reinforcing India’s multi-fuel transition pathway.
Further outlining the government’s roadmap, Dr. Neeraj Mittal, Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, highlighted priorities around strengthening domestic exploration and production, integrating refining and petrochemicals, and leveraging digitalisation and AI-driven efficiencies across the energy value chain. He noted the growing momentum behind compressed biogas, with a target of achieving 5 percent blending by 2030, supported by active State participation and farmer-led biomass supply chains.
Together, the outcomes of India Energy Week 2026 reinforced the event’s role as a platform that connects policy, innovation and investment—positioning India as a steady, credible and future-ready energy leader.
