India Energy Week 2026 concluded with India reaffirming its position as a resilient and forward-looking energy leader, highlighting strategic preparedness, innovation excellence, and sustained global engagement across the energy value chain.

India Energy Week 2026 served as a strong reflection of India’s growing confidence and credibility on the global energy stage, showcasing a strategy that blends preparedness, reform, and innovation. The event highlighted how India is advancing a balanced energy pathway—one that safeguards security and affordability while steadily progressing towards cleaner and more sustainable energy systems.

Speaking during the closing ceremony, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, highlighted India’s ability to respond effectively to evolving global energy conditions through diversification of supply, strengthened domestic capabilities, and an accelerated transition to cleaner fuels. He underscored India’s emergence as one of the world’s leading energy consumers and refiners, reaffirming the country’s commitment to maintaining stable and reliable energy access.

Adding to this perspective, Dr. Neeraj Mittal, Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, outlined the government’s focus on enhancing domestic exploration and production, improving logistics and refining efficiency, and deploying digital technologies and artificial intelligence across the energy value chain. The closing day also celebrated innovation and excellence across startups, academia, and industry, reinforcing India Energy Week’s position as a platform that connects leadership, technology, and investment to shape a resilient and future-ready energy ecosystem.
