MOL signs time charter agreement with GAIL for LNG carrier

India Energy Week 2026 convenes global energy leaders in Goa to convert dialogue into decisive outcomes. Through landmark MoUs and strategic agreements signed on-site, the event is advancing long-term collaboration across the energy value chain while strengthening global energy security and partnership.

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines and GAIL (India) Ltd strengthened their long-standing collaboration at India Energy Week 2026 through a landmark 10-year LNG shipping agreement, reinforcing shared priorities around supply reliability, maritime capability and long-term energy security. The agreement reflects deeper alignment between global shipping expertise and India’s growing gas ecosystem.

The partnership highlights the role of stable commercial frameworks, operational continuity and international cooperation in supporting India’s expanding LNG infrastructure and gas-based growth ambitions. By extending long-term shipping commitments, both organisations reaffirmed their focus on resilience, efficiency and strategic value creation across the LNG value chain.
