As a member of bp’s executive leadership team, William leads the organization that manages bp’s global natural gas businesses, along with growth in low carbon businesses and markets. Additionally, he has regional and reputational oversight of the US and China, and the stewarding of strategic partnerships and joint ventures management across the group.
Prior to this role, William was EVP for regions, corporates and solutions which brought together the best of bp to build enduring relationships with corporates to provide integrated energy and mobility solutions at scale.
William has worked in bp for 29 years where he held senior management roles across the globe. Previous roles include the chief operating officer for upstream regions, chief of staff for the group CEO, regional president for Asia Pacific and vice president for gas development and operations for Egypt.
William is a non-executive director for Pan American Energy Group and a member of the supervisory board for Corbion.
