Ashish Bhushan is a Chemical Engineer with a PGDBM in Operations & Finance and nearly three decades of experience in the Oil industry. His professional journey spans two refineries of India’s largest oil company, followed by the current role as Head of the Process & Engineering Department at the Oil Industry Safety Directorate (OISD). In the current role, he oversees safety enhancement of 72 major installations across India, including refineries, LNG terminals, gas processing plants, petrochemical units, and storage caverns.
He is a certified OHSMS ISO 45001 Lead Auditor and a formally trained Internal Auditor for IMS. His recent contributions include leading the OISD standard on Green Hydrogen, serving on MNRE’s Hydrogen Safety committee, and spearheading a forthcoming standard on Compressed Bio-Gas.
