Dharmesh is a seasoned Technology, Business Development and Strategy Leader specializing in Sustainable Fuels and Bio-Chemical value chains and multiple Energy transition initiatives for refineries across the globe.

He is leading all the technical decision-making for Essar Oil's Future Energy initiatives in India, focusing on Advanced Low Carbon fuels such as SAF, HVO, ATJ, E-Fuels, and PTX derivatives, aimed at meeting captive demand at the UK’s second-largest Crude refinery owned by the Essar Group, as well as various regional and international off-takers.

Dharmesh has been involved in key decision-making roles for Low Carbon Bio-refinery project investments and M&A activities totaling over US$5 billion globally. His core expertise lies in Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Renewable Diesel (HVO), Bio-Crudes (Pyrolysis, HTL), Renewable Furnace & Fuel Oils, FAME Biodiesel, and Synfuels to name few. With around two and a half decades of experience, Dharmesh has contributed to Bio-based Circular Economy solutions in the aviation, transport, and energy sectors, advising top consulting firms and refining majors across Europe, Asia Pacific, and North America.

He is currently member of the National Committee on Bio-Energy founded by Trade Promotion Council of India and he was also a member of the CII National Bio-Energy Taskforce in India in past. He has also served as a Government Relations Ambassador in the past, managing GR and Policy Advocacy activities focused on SDG goals through energy, sustainability, and environmental technologies for Fortune 100 company Honeywell Inc.
