Dr. Satish Balantrapu is a core member of Energy Transition (ET) Centre of Excellence (COE) at Infosys. His primary focus areas are Grid Modernization, Renewables & Storage and Sustainable Transportation. With over 2 decades of electric utilities experience, he is responsible for defining strategies and road maps, implementing solutions across grid modernization and sustainable transportation. He is an international speaker and chaired various sessions in utility conferences. His PhD research work on ‘Artificial Intelligence based Load forecasting for Smart Grid’ is included in the syllabus of Columbia university and he published around 35 papers in International Journals and Conferences including IEEE and Elsevier.
