First 12 years of prior offshore experience includes 7 years at Engineers India Limited, New Delhi, India pioneering ONGC’s Bombay High offshore development in late 70’s and 5 years with Hyundai Heavy Industries, 3 years of which in their shipyard in Korea helping execute ONGC offshore platform projects while helping develop their own Offshore Engineering Group for executing offshore platform fabrication prior to joining Black & Veatch (Pritchard) in 1989. 

 36 years with Black & Veatch where I led resurrection and establishing small scale LNG EPC business in 2000. Scaled up and launched Midscale LNG/FLNG Program in 2007 as program manager and successfully transformed onshore small scale liquefaction technology to mid scale offshore applications in FLNG helping establish Floating Oil&Gas division as separate business segment within Black & Veatch’s Oil & Gas business. Was responsible for FLNG business development & project development with clients structuring and executing technical and commercial solutions including commercial negotiations, setting up teaming agreements with shipyards and fabrication yards for offering clients integrated EPCIC solutions.

Masters in Structural Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, India in 1974. 

M.B.A. from Kansas University in 1993. Registered as Professional Engineer in state of Kansas.
