Based in Jakarta, Mathieu is Executive Director Asia Pacific at HDF Energy, a French company dedicated to hydrogen projects.

Mathieu has over 16 years of experience in Renewable Energy through various positions within IPP, EPC and key supplier companies. Prior to joining HDF Energy in 2018, Mathieu managed the development of the North African and East European subsidiaries of a French developer and EPC. He also spent four years as Business Development Manager for the Middle East and Africa at ArcelorMittal Exosun.

On the global stage, Mathieu has been a Project Advisor for the International Solar Alliance (ISA) since December 2013 and became a Steering Committee Member of the Green Hydrogen Innovation Center (GHIC) in September 2023.
