Sh Prashant Singh is currently posted as Head New Energy (Hydrogen & CCUS) in Joint Venture and Business development group of ONGC. He is responsible for pursuing the energy transition ambition with new energy as focus in the company. He has been instrumental in successfully commissioning a pilot hydrogen plant at Nandasan Gujarat.  

He is recipient of Chairman award for innovative initiatives in his service tenure and was chief architect for designing concept idea of new aged automated hydraulic rig in operation at ONGC. 

A mechanical engineer graduate from N.I.T Silchar, he started his career in 1993 with India’s premier Oil & Gas Company ONGC. He pursued his Executive M.B.A from Nirma university, Ahmedabad. He has a rich experience of more than 33 years in Oil & Gas industry which includes more than 24 years in field operations. He has worked in various capacities in oil fields of North Eastern region, Mumbai Offshore and Gujarat.  He has participated in Senior Management Program (SMP) at MDI Gurgaon and later did Strategic Leadership Program (SLP) from IIM Ahmedabad.  

He is also a serving Govt. nominee board member in Pawan Hans Limited a Mini Ratna-1 category Public Sector Undertaking and Ayana Renewables Pvt Limited.
