Puneet Goel is a strategic leader in energy transition with over 18 years of experience in the oil, gas, and renewable fuels sectors. As the Director of ICF's Fuels and Resources practice in South Asia, Puneet specializes in hydrogen, renewable fuels, and traditional energy markets.
He has spearheaded transformative projects in energy market assessments, strategy development, organizational transformation, and policy advocacy across geographies, including Australia, the US,
the Middle East, and South Asia. Puneet’s expertise spans traditional fuels like oil, gas, and coal, as well as emerging solutions such as green hydrogen, CCUS, and biofuels, helping clients design robust energy growth strategies.
In addition to his industry contributions, Puneet is actively involved in sustainability and Just Transition initiatives, including his recent collaboration with a multilateral agency to develop a Just Transition handbook for India’s coal sector.
