With nearly 12 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, he brings extensive expertise in Refining Operations, Coordination, and Natural Gas. In his current role as Joint Director (Gas) at  Petroleum Planning & Analysis Cell (PPAC), MoP&NG he is responsible for overseeing Natural Gas data Analysis and management.

He began his career with Numaligarh Refinery Limited, where he held various positions across multiple hydrocarbon processing units.

Kumar is an alumnus of IIT Guwahati and holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Petroleum Science.
