Sachin Kotak, is a member of our Energy & Natural Resources, Performance Improvement and Advanced Manufacturing & Services practices. He has nearly 20 years of consulting experience and has worked extensively with clients on energy transition business opportunities, business building, net zero strategy, and full potential transformation. He has also advised clients across building materials, metals, mining, automotive, and energy sectors on commercial and operational excellence, as well as value creation in procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing operations. Prior to joining Bain & Company, Sachin worked for another top global consulting firm. He holds an MBA from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and is a Chartered Accountant.

Only last year, Sachin co-authored Bain’s Global Machinery and Equipment Report 2022, which provides insight into the M&A average deal size, and the 2022 Global M&A report, which highlights the strategic dealmaking among industrials. Alongside client work, he has also written and spoken on topics including investment in clean energy, accelerating green power development in India, strategies to build a resilient future, climate change, etc. Sachin has been quoted in leading Indian publications and participated in various industry events.
