Satya Perumalla is working in Oil & Gas Industry for over 25 years in Technical and Managerial roles with specialization in Geomechanics, Geology & Drilling Engineering. Satya worked in most of Middle Eastern countries, Africa, and Asia Pacific. Satya is presently leading Geomechanics consulting practice with Baker Hughes to perform studies to address concurrent challenges for multiple Energy companies in the region. He previously worked with Schlumberger, British Gas and Shell.
 
Satya has built and leading a team of Geomechanics professionals to perform consulting studies as well as operational execution in the region. He is an author of multiple International technical papers and a renowned mentor/instructor for Geomechanics training. He received M.Sc. (Applied Geology) degree from Indian Institute of Technology- Roorkee, India; General Management Diploma from Indian Institute of Management- Ahmedabad, India; and Executive Energy Leadership management degree with University of Texas, Austin, USA.
