Sourabh Mukherjee is a visionary force in India’s clean energy and infrastructure evolution. As Executive Vice President at Tata Projects Ltd., he leads the company’s overarching corporate strategy, driving breakthrough innovations and positioning the organization as a predictable, technology-first partner in sustainable development.

Under his leadership, Tata Projects has significantly advanced its Net Zero journey, embedding ESG principles across operations while expanding strategic investments in new energy, green hydrogen, decarbonization, and circular economy solutions. Sourabh combines engineering expertise with business foresight, uniting cross-functional teams to build scalable, future-ready solutions that align with national priorities and global climate frameworks.

Previously, Sourabh served as Global Sector Leader for Chemicals & Petrochemicals at Worley, and as Senior Director of Global Sales at Jacobs. He brings deep technical expertise from earlier roles at KBR, Lummus Technology, Engineers India Ltd., and Haldia Petrochemicals, where he oversaw groundbreaking developments in olefins and catalytic cracking technologies. His tenure includes site-level commissioning, business development, technology deployment, and strategy design across Asia-Pacific and beyond.

Sourabh is a recognized thought leader who has spoken at forums like ADIPEC, GPCA, IRPC, AIChE, and RTM. He has authored influential publications on catalytic olefins flexibility and technology adaptation in uncertain markets. He is also a recipient of the President’s Award from Lummus Technology.

Sourabh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Jadavpur University and is passionate about advancing green infrastructure and ESG-driven innovation.
