Vikas Gaba is Partner and National Head – Power and Utilities; and also leads Energy and Infrastructure vertical within Business Consulting at KPMG in India. In his role, he is responsible for managing strategy, growth and expansion, client relationships and market positioning of KPMG in the energy space – covering oil & gas, power and renewables, fuels, and infra transport. 

He brings over 21+ years of experience of shaping and managing complex and large-scale energy sector reforms and transformation programs in across multiple geographies. He brings deep expertise in designing new policies and programs, structural and market reforms, developing business strategies, private sector investment frameworks, operational and performance improvement and institutional strengthening. 

Vikas has worked extensively across various client segments including national and sub-national governments; public and private sector clients, multi-lateral and bi-lateral donor agencies, regulators, utilities, funds and investors; and has direct working experience in India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Maldives, Sri Lanka, United Kingdom, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Yemen, Southern Africa, USA. 

Vikas is a regular speaker in eminent global and Indian energy forums, and part of expert committees instituted by Industry bodies and select PSUs.
