Dr. Manoj Kumar Jhawar is Ph.D (Management Sciences) from Devi Ahilya University, Indore. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Government Engineering College, Ujjain and did his Masters in Industrial Engineering & Management from Devi Ahilya University, Indore. Further, he is a qualified Cost Accountant from ICAI.

Dr. Manoj Kumar Jhawar has three decades of leadership experience in the power distribution sector, particularly with the Madhya Pradesh State Electricity Board and Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company Ltd., where he held senior roles such as Director, Chief Financial Officer, Chief IT Officer, and Executive Director. Dr. Jhawar also worked as Director (Finance) at KIOCL Limited.

Dr. Manoj Kumar Jhawar joined PTC India Limited Board as Director (Commercial & Operations) w.e.f 18th January, 2024 and he was given additional responsibilities of the post of CMD (PTC) w.e.f 13th June, 2024. Later on, he assumed the charge of CMD w.e.f  13th May 2025.
