Mr. Rajesh Kumar is currently working as Senior General Manager at CTUIL (Wholly Owned Subsidiary of POWERGRID), looking after Transmission planning of Eastern/Nort Eastern and Cross-Border Regions as well as Corporate Planning. He is also part of Task Force on OSOWOG.

He has about 30 years of work experience in the power system. He is member of various national and international professional bodies. He has firsthand experience of working in the field of IT & Cyber Security, Smart Grid, Energy Storage, System Operation, SCADA/EMS etc.

He has published several technical papers in various international & national journals, conferences and co-authored a book on Smart grid. He has done his graduation in Electrical Engineering from REC (NIT), Rourkela and Masters in Energy and Environment Management from I.I.T., Delhi.
