Mr. Sujoy Choudhury is Chief Strategy Officer at TCG Group, a global conglomerate with a strong footprint across India, the US, Europe and the Middle East. He leads the Group’s strategic initiatives in Artificial Intelligence, Mergers and Acquisitions across the petrochemicals and textile sectors, and the development of new business opportunities. He also serves as a Director on the Board of MCPI, a TCG entity manufacturing Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA).

An accomplished energy professional, Mr. Choudhury brings over 36 years of experience and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. Before joining TCG Group, he served on the Board of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) as Director (Planning & Business Development), where he provided strategic leadership across Petrochemicals, Gas, Alternate Energy and Sustainable Development, Exploration & Production, and New Businesses. He chaired Lanka IOC, Indian Oil Total and IOT Biogas, and was Director in IOC’s Canadian joint venture focused on gas exploration and marketing. He also held interim charge of IOC’s R&D and HR functions for about eight months. Mr. Choudhury’s career reflects deep industry insight, strategic foresight and a sustained commitment to advancing innovation and sustainable energy solutions. He remains committed to fostering collaborative partnerships and long-term value.
