He has about 25 years of experience in the international oil and petrochemical industry.

Before joining Purvin & Gertz (which was acquired by S&P Global Energy in 2011) in 2007, Premasish worked at ExxonMobil Refining in Singapore for more than 8 years in several strategic, commercial and technical assignments, and about 4 years at NOCIL, a petrochemical producer in Mumbai India, for in technical and project development activities.

Premasish has a master's degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
