Overview

In the backdrop of India’s ambitious energy infrastructure build-out and transition roadmap, efficient and agile project management has become essential to meet time-bound deliverables, ensure cost efficiency, and minimize implementation risks. This session will focus on leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), data analytics, and digital platforms to strengthen project monitoring, decision-making, and issue resolution across energy projects.

Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas has pioneered milestone-based digital tracking mechanisms, such as the Pariyojana portal, to improve project transparency and accountability. Building on this digital foundation, the session will explore how AI and real-time data tools can further empower project managers, PSUs, and decision-makers.

The panel will discuss the following:

1. Project management: the role of AI, data and digital dashboards: Use of analytics for progress tracking, delay prediction and performance benchmarking

2. Pariyojana Portal and future enhancements: How milestone-based monitoring is being scaled and digitised

3. Real-time issue identification and resolution frameworks: Leveraging integrated dashboards for bottleneck detection and inter-ministerial follow-up

4. PM Gati Shakti
