Amit assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer for Adani Green Energy in May 2023. He is presently focused on driving the organization in the next phase of growth to deliver 50 GW RE capacity by 2030. This will entail an end-to-end transformation of supply chain, strengthening the workforce and digitalization at scale.
A graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Mr. Amit Singh has over 22 years of experience in the oilfield, managing energy transition, and digital advancements in the energy sector. He has worked in multiple geographies spreading across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas.
Prior to joining Adani, Mr. Singh held several leadership roles in SLB (formerly Schlumberger), based in London, where he was responsible for the development of corporate strategy, managing research and engineering investments for new technology, corporate branding, Tier-1 partnerships, and investments in emerging technologies. Prior to that, he also served as the Managing Director and President of SLB in Qatar, where he led all Oilfield Divisions. Under his leadership, SLB Qatar was able to execute the world’s largest gas development (North Field) project in record time, introducing multiple technological innovations while exceeding industry performance benchmarks.
