Mr. P. Manoj Kumar is currently working as Director General, PPAC, in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas since December 2022.

Mr. Kumar is an officer from Indian Statistical Service (1998 Batch). Career statistician, he secured First Rank in Postgraduate in Statistics in the year 1995 from Calicut University, Kerala. He joined Indian Statistical Service in the year 1998 and has worked at various capacities in several Central Ministries viz. Health, MoSPI, MSME, Rural Development, CBDT etc. He has extensive experience in social sector and handled one of the flagship programmes of Government of India viz. Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY).

At PPAC, he leads various energy policy initiatives and strengthening of data systems.
