Mr. Rahul Munjal is a third-generation member of one of India’s leading industrial families, the Hero group and Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Hero Future Energies (HFE).

Founded in 2012 and headquartered in London, HFE is India’s top tier renewable energy (RE) producer with a portfolio of 7.5 GW of RE assets either operational or under construction. The company ahas a global footprint with assets in operation or under construction in Vietnam and UK. Under Rahul’s stewardship HFE has grown swiftly, secured the backing of marquee investors such as “International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group”, and “KKR and Co Inc” and forayed into next gen clean tech frontiers such as hybrid power, round the clock power, energy storage and green hydrogen. With a clear vision of sustainability, Mr. Munjal has led the company in expanding its footprint across India and internationally, spearheading large-scale renewable energy projects.

In addition to his role at HFE, Rahul is extremely active in various forums advocating sustainability, climate action and building businesses with a “profit for purpose”.
