1) PM E-Bus Sewa Programme: This initiative aims at the deployment of 10,000 nos. electric buses for urban and rural public transport, reducing air pollution and fuel dependence. It enhances last-mile connectivity, lowers transportation costs, and supports India’s clean energy goals. Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL), which is a subsidiary of EESL, is leading the charge in e-mobility by aggregating demand.

2) UrjaVEER Programme: Launched in 2024, the Urja Volunteers Leading Energy Efficiency Revolution (UrjaVEER) programme empowers youth to become “energy efficiency ambassadors”, promoting awareness and sustainable practices across communities. It fosters the next generation of energy-conscious leaders dedicated to tackling climate change.

3) Energy Efficient Fan Programme (EEFP): EEFP replaces conventional ceiling fans with energy-efficient BLDC Fans, thereby lowering electricity consumption and costs. It also alleviates pressure on the power grid while contributing to India’s energy conservation efforts.

4) Super-Efficient Air Conditioner Programme (SEAC): SEAC promotes advanced air conditioners with lower energy consumption, reducing electricity bills and peak demand. It supports grid stability while helping reduce carbon emissions in the cooling sector.

5) Geothermal Heat Pump Programme: This program uses geothermal energy for efficient heating and cooling, lowering energy consumption and carbon emissions. It provides sustainable solutions for buildings and industries, reducing environmental impact. A pilot project has been undertaken in the UT of Ladakh as a part of this initiative.
