Hemal has over 17 years of experience in the automotive, logistics and road traffic segment. He currently leads Crisil’s Consulting business for mobility, logistics and roads traffic practice.
In this role Hemal oversees a diverse 27-member team who are responsible for Crisil’s diverse offerings in mobility, logistics and roads traffic consulting space spreading across functions like strategy, growth, sales acceleration, customer experience, policy formulation, traffic studies to name a few. Hemal also plays a leading role in Crisil’s franchise initiatives and represents Crisil in various industry forums.
Hemal in the past has worked on several marqee assignments for the mobility and road traffic industry like “Automotive Mission Plan 2026” and “National Highways Infra Trust (NHIT), the infrastructure investment trust asset monetization program of 16,000 crores” to name a few. He has worked on several upcoming areas in the electric vehicles ecosystem space as well as deployment if electric vehicles in the logistics space.
Prior to this, Hemal was a part of Tata Motors Ltd. (Commercial Vehicles Business Unit) for a period two years handling channel and retail funding pan India. Apart from Crisil, Hemal has worked with Tata Motors Ltd. (Commercial Vehicles Business Unit), ICRA Management Consulting Services Ltd. (IMACS) and Euro Asia Consulting.
