Atma-nirbhar Bharat initiative and Energy Efficiency: Commercialisation of IOCL Patented Drag Reducing Additive (XTRAFLO) replacing imported DRA. India is now net exporter.
ZERO Kerosene Operations: Challenge was foreseen in handling ATF in multiproduct pipeline which generated SKO at terminals. I led a team to implement a novel solution involving clearance from CEMILAC. This is implemented in IOCL Pipelines as an ‘industry first’ initiative resulting in zero kerosene generation.
Green initiative: 10% ethanol blending in MS was mandated by GOI. To reduce production cost of MS at Refinery by optimizing RON, ethanol blending at Refinery itself was profitable. Established transporting EBMS through multiproduct Pipelines (first in world).
Renewable Energy: Completion of 48.3 MW Wind Power Project in Andhra Pradesh.
Refining: Engineering and Commissioning of one of its kind ‘Transmix Separator Plant’ at Jaipur.
