Ahmed Hababou is president, Middle East and India, at Air Products. He is responsible for driving the strategy of the company’s business entities in these regions. He is also chairman of the Air Products Qudra and Jazan Integrated Gasification and Power Company boards.
Mr. Hababou joined Air Products in 2002 and has held several key leadership positions, including serving as general manager of the Middle East from 2005-2008; head of operations and supply chain in Southern Europe from 2008-2013; head of European Specialty Gases & Helium Operations from 2013-2016; and vice president, Southern Europe and Maghreb from 2016-2020.
In 2020 Mr. Hababou assumed the position of vice president, Green Hydrogen, where he played a leadership role in developing Air Products’ green hydrogen project pipeline worldwide. He was named to his current role in 2023.
Prior to joining Air Products, Mr. Hababou worked in different parts of the world within the industrial gases, and oil and gas industries.
Mr. Hababou holds a Master of Science degree in industrial engineering from the École Centrale de Paris and has completed the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD.
