Mr. Satyanarayan Goel serves as the Chairman and Managing Director of the Indian Energy Exchange (IEX). With over four decades of extensive experience in the power sector, Mr. Goel has contributed across diverse domains including power generation, power trading, commercial and regulatory affairs, market development, and cross-border electricity trade. Prior to joining IEX, Mr. Goel was Director – Marketing and Operations at PTC India Limited. He also had a distinguished 29-year tenure at NTPC Limited, where he retired as Executive Director. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from NIT Rourkela and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi.
