Aparna Raman is SLB’s chief strategy and marketing officer, a role she assumed in March 2025. In her current capacity, Aparna oversees corporate strategy, market intelligence, communications, and product marketing.
Aparna began her SLB career in 1996 as a field engineer in the United States and quickly advanced to hold various international leadership positions across the company. Most recently, she served as president of Reservoir Performance, president of Completions, vice president of North America land for OneStim Integrated Completions Services, and general manager and managing director for SLB in Australia.
Aparna holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a director of the Schlumberger Foundation, an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and volunteers with March of Dimes in Houston.
